A woman from Battle Ground, Washington has pleaded guilty in federal court in Rhode Island to charges related to drug trafficking. The announcement was made by Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom.
Megan Farra, 39, entered her guilty plea on December 2, 2025. She admitted to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute various schedule IV-controlled substances, as well as possession with intent to distribute these substances. Her sentencing is set for March 3, 2026. A federal district judge will determine her sentence after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other legal factors.
Court documents indicate that Farra was involved in a drug-distribution network with several co-conspirators connected to an overseas organization. Members of this group in the United States received large shipments of pills from international sources, repackaged them into smaller amounts, and sent them by mail to buyers across the country. Participants were compensated for their roles in the distribution operation. The conspiracy led to the importation and distribution of tens of thousands of pills containing schedule IV-controlled substances and non-controlled prescription drugs.
Assistant United States Attorney Ronald R. Gendron is prosecuting the case.
The investigation was conducted by the Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
